The Taoyuan Sunlight Arena (TSA) covers an area of approximately 2.2 hectares. Its construction project is subsidized by the Ministry of Culture, implemented by the Office of Public Construction of Taoyuan City, and designed by Ricky Liu & Associates Architects+Planners. TSA is aiming at making Taoyuan City be the center of Asian pop music events with its good traffic networks, and friendly/professional equipment.
TSA is able to accommodate 15,000 persons utmost. It has outdoor professional music venues and underground parking lots and a linear three-dimensional landscape space of the Arena is formed by adopting grass slopes and pedestrian spaces. TSA has a 10-meter wide evacuation route and 6 entrances. The crowd can quickly access into the performance venue or evacuate therefrom. An open stage and underground preparation area is established to allow performers be free of limitation of the stage specifications, and use the space more flexibly. In the future, TSA will become an excellent site for large-scale concerts and music performances.
